Blue Ridge Pkwy, Skyline Drive.  Nice farm road NE from Front Royal,
then 50 N to WINCHESTER, VA.  Washed car in Waynesboro.  Narrowly avoided
a deer, three feasants (? black) and a late straggler. Comfort Inn.

77 S to 55.  55S (great) to 15 15 S to 55 to 60 to charleston.

20 to US 90 toll through Chicago to 20 to Dubuque. GRR North on the
Wisconsin side: 61 133 VV 133 35 to LA CROSSE, WI.  Bluff View Inn.

7/16 grab 94-95 start rainy, end great.
35 to Prescott, 61 to I 94 to St Cloud. 10 to 371 to Brainerd.
210 to Aitkin.  GRR (including lots of dirt roads) to GRAND RAPIDS, MN.
Days Inn.

7/17 grab 96-105 Bit chilly but beautiful
Various mostly paved GRR roads to Lake Itasca.  (GRR was well indicated
in Wisconsin, and the final part in Minnesota, except still one
change of direction only after the fact.  Final GRR is great.)
Down 100 and 71 to 34 to 10 to 94 to Bismarck. 1804 and 83 up to
WASHBURN, ND.
Scot Wood motel (good).

But do have a laundermat.  Worried about Canadian funds and Bozo
oil consumption, exhaust burning.

Stewart.  Cassiar is beautiful.

Brown bear (Grizly?) crossing the road.  Also 3 ducks.

Saw three sheep on the hwy, one trying to cross, one with child,
one alone.
